Wilbanks Resource Corporation: Contract Landman
Spent ten months working for an independent oil and gas company.
| Worked in association with B.J. Young. They prepared 250 properties for sale, assisted with due diligence, sold without defects and prepared the federal assignments, state assignments of oil and gas leases, letters in lieu, preferential right and consent to assign letters, mineral deeds, assignment of fee leases and right of ways, and sundry and state notices for properties in Wyoming, Utah and North Dakota. |  |
In conjunction with Wilbanks Resource Corporation, Darby worked for seven months on an eight-man team at a major oil company on a divestiture of 1,400 wells and affiliated leases sold in excess of 100 million dollars. They verified right of way interests, prepared preferential right and consent of assignment letters, sold without defects, verified interests in Montana State leases and ROW prepared assignments, assisted with preparation of the assignment of fee leases, federal assignments, letters in lieu, transferred preferential rights, sundry notices, state designation of operations, and interest on tribal lands. They also assisted with the clean up after the sale for the seller.

OTHER OIL AND GAS WORK RELATED ACTIVITIES
Previous work experience includes employment with Davis Oil Co. and Home Petroleum. Professional activities at these two companies included all aspects of land work, division order analyst work, and reservoir engineering technician work. At Home Petroleum conducted due diligence investigation of oil and gas interest, well cost, income streams, ownership status and production histories for properties purchased from Davis Oil Company. (1983-1986) Darby served as primary debtor's co-counsel on two $30 million Chapter 11 Oil and Gas bankruptcies in the Houston Bankruptcy Court (Southern District of Texas). As debtor's co-counsel Darby prepared, wrote and successfully reorganized the companies. (1988-1992)
She also served as primary debtor's co-counsel on a $5 million Chapter 11 Oil and Gas bankruptcy in the Bankruptcy Court of Colorado. As debtor's counsel negotiated the liquidation of properties, leases, oil field equipment and other assets in the state of Kansas.(1996-7)
